Art & Creative Media Rules
If you plan on sharing or selling any form of creative media here at Kiros, you will need to adhere to the following rules and guidelines.
1. General Rules & Guidelines
1.) All creative media (artwork, images, presets etc.) must adhere to Kiros's Code of Conduct and be suitable for a 16+ audience.
a.) NSFW/18+ artwork is not permitted to be advertised or sold on any Kiros platform. This includes offering to take the discussion/sale off-site. Attempts to circumvent this rule runs the risk of being permanently suspended.
b.) All examples used in your art sales topic must be fully clothed. We ask that artistic nudity is not posted on our platform unless it is properly censored (no nipples and/or genitalia being displayed).
c.) Media that depicts illegal activities is not permitted to be shared on-site.
d.) You may not ask someone for proof to verify their age. This includes asking for their birth date and/or legal id card of any kind.
2.) You may not share media that was not created by you.
a.) An exception to this rule is if you obtain explicit permission from the creator, or the piece was created in collaboration with another user. All users involved must be credited.
b.) You may submit an admin ticket regarding a base/lineart you purchased if you wish to use it here at Kiros.
c.) User's may not share AI generated artwork and pass it as their own work, as this falls under sharing and/or claiming media that was not created by your own hands.

3.) Jumpscares, videos with sudden loud noises or flashing scenes, must be properly disclosed in your topic. This rule is in place to protect players that may be sensitive to flashing lights or loud noises.
2. Art Sales Rules & Guidelines
1.) All artwork sold and advertised on Kiros must be suitable for a 16+ audience.
a.) This includes offering to create NSFW/18+ artwork off-site. Attempts to circumvent this rule run the risk of being permanently suspended.
2.) Players may not profit off of artwork that was not created by them.
a.) All examples used in your art sales topic must be created by you. Tracing/eyeballing/or heavily referencing another photo is not permitted.
b.) This includes using another artists lineart/base. If you did not receive explicit permission from the artist and have not received approval via an admin ticket, you are not permitted to use another artists lineart/base for any reason.
c.) Photo manipulations may not be profited off of in any circumstance.
d.) Profiting off of AI generated art is not permitted under any circumstances. This includes tracing over AI generated images to pass as your own work.

3.) Please keep sales negotiations on-site.
a.) In the event Kiros assets are exchanged for artwork, our staff will only be able to help if the negotiations were conducted on-site. Off-site instances are a case-by-case basis.
4.) Players may only exchange artwork for Kiros assets (items, pets), or real-life money (ex. USD). Other website/game currencies/assets are not permitted to be used as payment.
5.) Physical media is not permitted to be sold on Kiros, as this would require personally identifiable information to be exchanged.
a.) Players are not permitted to provide links to their off-site stores to promote or sell physical media.
6.) Purchasing artwork of copyrighted or trademarked characters is done at your own risk. Kiros will not be held responsible for any legal action being sought due to the purchase or sale or copyrighted/trademarked characters.
7.) Character/OC sales are prohibited on Kiros.
a.) Adoptable designs, or designs that have no additional artwork or a backstory are permitted to be sold.
b.) Adoptables may not be re-sold or re-traded if they were not purchased from our website.
3. Preset Sale Rules & Guidelines
1.) If a preset is created using another persons textures (fur texture, eye texture, masks etc.), it is not permitted to be profited off of by any means.
a.) This includes using textures or assets provided to you by the Kiros team explicitly for preset creation unless stated otherwise.
b.) One exception to this rule is material code snippets. As these are shared freely among the community, these are not considered using another persons work unless explicitly stated otherwise.
2.) Presets may only be sold for Kiros assets or real-life money. Other forms of currency are not permitted.
3.) Preset sale advertisements may only be posted for Kiros related presets. Advertising preset sales for other IT servers is prohibited.
